About Us
The Academy
Fletcher Soccer Academy was formed in 2020 in Morrow, OH by Coach Tony Fletcher. Having coached at both the recreational/grassroots and club level, Tony saw a need for more personalized training outside the team environment. By offering 1-on-1 and small group training, Fletcher Soccer Academy is able to tailor training sessions to the needs of each player. The lower player-to-coach ratio allows for players in the academy to receive more individual attention and feedback. Fletcher Soccer Academy is also a club neutral academy. Programs are available to any player, regardless of club or school, who are willing to put in the work.
The Badge
Getting the design for the Fletcher Soccer Academy badge and logo just right was very important to Coach Tony. The round shape, red and blue colors are a tribute to one of his favorite soccer clubs. The arrows are a nod to his last name, Fletcher: a person who makes and sells arrows. The Spartan helmet, though, was the key element to communicate the ethos of the academy. Spartans were feared warriors in the ancient world. Being a warrior was part of who they were and they trained constantly to be the best. Those are the type of players we want at Fletcher Soccer Academy. Players who live and breathe soccer, who aren’t afraid of hard work or the dedication needed to constantly develop.
